quitan

The  land falls asleep,
The  land wakes up and prepares,
The  land concludes its day.
The  sound being a golden line,
Dots are time,
The  circles of vibrations grow, connecting dots.
The  wind blows, gets deeper green.
After a short pause,
it     reaches to ears of each.
It     repeats without missing a beat, forthrightly.

ある地は　眠りに落ち
ある地は　目覚め整える
ある地は　その日を仕舞うころ
その音は　こがねの線
　　点は　時
振動の輪をおおきくして
　　点を　結ぶ
風にのると　深緑を帯びる
少しの間をおいて　各々の　耳に届く
寸分狂うことなく　淡々と繰り返す

There were overflowing numbers of "differences" in our world.
Those differences would have been rooted in their respective fields, not been disharmony.

Before the diversity was uniformed by modernization, what was the world like?

"Quitan" is a bricolage of such fellowships for beautiful cultures.

私達の世界は、豊かな”違い”で溢れていました。
世界中に散りばめられたそれらは、決して不調和などでなく、それぞれの地に根を張り、共存していたことでしょう。

ほんの100年前の世界、文明の発展とともに多様性が失われる前の世界とは、一体どの様なものであったのだろう。
点と点とを線で結び、紐解いてみたいのです。

"quitan"とは、そういった、いきいきとした文化との交歓の記録なのです。
